Live And Learn Spanish .com is
the program that allows
young people, adults and senior citizens to live in Mexico and learn to speak
spanish by living with resident Mexican families in Merida Yucatan, one of
most beautiful viceregal cities in our country.
Live And Learn Spanish .com believes that cultural and social
activities can contribute greatly to your success as a student. Live And Learn
Spanish .com activities and trips give you an opportunity to apply your life
skills, practice Spanish in real situations, becoming familiar with Mexican
culture.

Students are encouraged to participate in local area
activities 7 days a week, including:

Cultural events. Most of them are free.

Dinner at popular restaurants.

Sports.

Sightseeing trips.

Movies.
-
Parties and dance nights.

Salsa dance class and gyms.

Cuisine class.

Students are provided housing with local Spanish speaking
families and get the experience of participating in
daily and local life, great food,
interesting culture, etc which will assure them a true immersion to learn the
language. The Mexican host will take the students as a member of the families
and share meals, familiar activities and good times.
Students are assigned to carefully
selected families
according to the student's request.

Students may choose either a twin room or a single room
with 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). In most cases bathrooms are
shared.
|
Housing accommodations are comfortable and located in the
best and safest neighborhoods of our city with easily access to public transportation to reach
the Spanish Institute. Families are carefully selected to assure them a
warm and friendly experience during their stay. Some home placements are with single
people, some with a couple, and others with families of 3 or more members.

We do our best to accommodate preferences, but cannot always do so. Students and hosts
are expected to be flexible.
